(Per United Press Association.) TIMARU, February 17. His Excellency the Governor and Lady Liverpool broke their journey from Christchurch to Dunedin for a couple of hours. Tho Governor was given a loyal reception hy the crowd at the railway station and a more formal reception at the Borough Cohncil offices hy the Mayor, and Mr Craigie, M.P. After a motor drive about the town and suburbs, they were enter- , tained at lunch by the Mayor and Mayoress of Temuka and Waimate. The chairman of the local bodies were also present. His Excellency’s health was drunk with honours. He was taken round the harbour works and the bay in the Harl/our Board’s launch. Lady Liverpool visiting a friend in the suburbs. The journey was then resumed. ,
