N.Z. NEWSPAPER PROPRIETORS' ASSOCIATION.
(Pit United Pre<H Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH. February 17. The annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association was held this evening. There was a large and representative attendance, Mr Selig (president) occupied the chair. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. Teh conference sat late discussing much important business. The report made mention of the loss to-tho jouralistic profession by the death of the late Mr W. S. Douglas, editor of the New Zealand Herald. The meeting will resume to-morrow.
