Time, llir. 24niius. 20 sees, Longworth broke his own 1912 record by fourteen seconds. GONYILLE SWIMMING CLUB. The second race for the Junior Challenge Cup was got off on Saturday last, and resulted as under— First heat—P. Pidwell V, E. Vcitch 2, G. Wallace 3. Time, 54secs. Second heat—N, Waite 1, K. Svenson 2, C. Svenson 3. lime, 56secs. Final—K. Svenson 1, C. Svenson and K. Veitch (dead heat) 2, R. Pidwell 3. Time, 50 l-ssec. Mr T. Anderson deserves great credit fat the way he handicapped the swimmers, inches separating the placed inch.
