JACKSON AND CO.’S STOCK REPORT. Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and C. report as under: At our Wanganui sale on 11th, a large yarding of all classes of stock came forward, vis., 750 head of cattle, 4200 sheep, and 84 pigs. Sheep were in. good demand, practically the .whole yarding being (putted. Cattle were dull of sale, although a large portion- of the entry was quitted after the sale. At our Waverley yards on 13th, we again offered a large yarding of stock, 370 head of cattle and 6000 sheep. Sound f.m. ewes were in demand, Mr M. Murphy’s annual draft of 4-year ewes making 15s, and Mrs Peat’s annual draft of 5-year ewes were sold at 14s. Cattle were only iu moderate demand. We quote: At Wanganui sale:—S.f.m. ewes 12s to 13s 6d; others 10s lid to Us 7d; culls 3s 4d to os 9d; forward ewes 14s 9d to 15s; woolloy lambs (forward) Ss 3d; small 5s 4d, 5s sd; medium 2-tooth wethers 14s 6d to I4s 9d; light fat wethers 19s Id: small 2-tooth 14s Id. Cattle of Wanganui:—Fat cows ,£6 12s
