INSTANTANEOUS SUCCESS OF TEE 4 H.P. “TRIUMPH” AT CHRISTCHURCH. The first shipment of the new 1914 model Triumph motor cycle 4 h.p. speed machines arrived in Christchurch on Thursday last, and by 1 p.m. on Saturday all had been sold and orders still flocking in. We had b.°?n led to expect something of especial merit in the 1914 model, but the reality has surpassed both our own expectations and those of our clients. The running of the 1914 is a perfect revelation even to those who had experiences of the flexibility and ready response to control of the 1914 3-si>ecd “Triumph.” The increase in the engine power | rovides a very big reserve of rower for the side-car user, and as excellent as the 4J h.p. Triumph was as side car machine, the 4 h.p. is still better. As a solo machine it retains all the virtues of the lower powered models and embodies several improvements, ■ while it is a.so capable of a higher speed. Of Triumph quality in general we need say nothing. It has been proved in open competition in New Zealand on scores of ocra.-;ons, the latest of which was the winning of the North Island Fifteen Mile Cham; onship Race, conducted under the auspices of the Manawatn Motor Cycle Club on January 22nd. The second shipment is now to hand and we can give immediate delivery of the 1914 h.p. Triumph, fitted with the celebrated Sturmey-Archcr Once speed gear. LT p . Agents Triumph Motor Tvclcs, AVENUE. WANOANDI.
