At the Supreme Court, in the case of Minnie Frewin, a young woman charged with setting tiro to a billiard room at Huntly, Mr Justice Cooper said it had been represented that she was driven by ill-treatment from her homo by her husband, betrayed by another man, and again led astray by the owner of the billiard room. It was an extremely sad case. He did not want to send the woman to gaol, and placed her in the hands of the Salvation Army. Subsequently his Honor gave the woman some -.1.*. ’ I- i!
