MRS. W. ARMSTRONG. "We Regret to have to record the depth of still another of Wnaganui's old identities in the person of 1 Mrs Sarah ' Apb relict of the late Willi afe Armstrong/ who passed away yesterday at the' age of CB. years. r J’ho deceased lady, who was born in '.Vanganu I .' IWed all her life here and in consequence passed through all the troublous times'of. the early days. She was the daughter of the late Mr Jonas Lockett,, one UmeCol lector of Customs, and a prominent raemtwr of the Masonic fraternity and the Anglican Church. She leaves a grown'up family consisting of Mr William Armstrong (Auckland), Mrs Humphrey (Kahahi), Mp* Lints (New Plymouth), Walter Armstrong (deceased), and Mr John Armstrong (Wanganui), and Miss J. Armstrong (Wong** nui), also 25 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, to all of whom sincere gym. pathy in their'great loss will be extended.
