AN EDITOR’S PREDICTION. ■WIRELESS AND AIRSHIPS. (Timos-Sydnoy Sun Special Service.) (By Telegraph.) LONDON. August 19. Mr Donald, editor of the Chronicle, addressed the Journalists’ Conference at York. Ho predict'd that the papers of the future would be smaller, containing less reading, and airships would bo used in distributing them. Morning and evening papers would bo merged, and would have editors for every hour of the day and night. News would be collected by wireless ami telephones. ’ A reporter would have a nortable telephono with him to communicate! with the office without writing. The message would bo delivered to the sub-editor and printed in column form.
