BODY FOUND IN SCRUB. SHOT IN THE BACK. Press Association—Telegraph—Copyright. ' SYDNEY, August 19. An aboriginal girl gathering bottles discarded by Sunday, picnickers in the" scrub at Parra Bay discovered a body, supposed to be that of Thomas George Mower, aged 27, a native of Scotland, md a clerk. Apparently death occurred early on Sunday night. A bullet had entered the middle of his back. It is difficult to understand what business would tako anyone to such a lonely spot by night, but it is supposed to bo a case >f murder, though the motive is absent. Tho deceased was an educated man of reserved manner. Ho made few friends and no enemies. It is believed ho-made two trips to England during tho past year in tho capacity of steward.

SYDNEY..August 1!). A black tracker found tracks where a couple had boon sitting eating oranges, also a man’s track from tho spot where Stratton was found to the spot whore an empty cartridge lay. It is stated that Stratton was frequently seen in tho locality by night.
