The attendance is large and the course is in exccnent order, and the weather perfect for the Napier Park Club’s Winter meeting:— Moteo Hurdles.—Cally Bridge 1, Morn.„g 2, Peary 3. Scratched utacseu. Cally Bridge led for the last mile and won by a'length and a-half, the same distance between second and third. Time 3.8 2-5. Petane Hack Steeplechase.—Fireworks 1, Makiri 2, Mastei? Webb 3. Ranter fell. Won by six lengths, half a length between second and third. Scratched, Hiro. The time was not taken., Stewards Sta’^s. —Mysteriarch 1, Mummre 2, Matlow 3. Scratched Diavolo and Arohakau. Won by a head. Time 1.44 4-5. , Napier Steeplechase.—The Spaniard 1, Reservoir 2, , Rebel 3. . Scratched: El Dorado, Leolanter, and Ranter. Tyrannic led till he fell in the second round at the rear. Bravest fell at the next hurdle. Donzel was leading, but lost his rider in the straight. Won by ten lengths, a hundred yards between second and third. Sunray and Maiterer ran off. Time, 6.34; Ladies' Bracelet—Settler 1, Braoburn 2, Marble Head 3. Won by a couple of lengths. Scratched—Kopu, Morning, Merry' Land, Interpreter, Rongdmai, and Hiro.
