CURE FOR RHEUMATISM.
DUNEDIN DISCOVERY REPORTED. What appears to be a discovery of some importance has been made by a St. Kilda (Dunedin) resident, which, if it accomplishes what is claimed tor it, should be of great value to those suffering from rheumatism and sciatica.
It appears that a cure was discovered some twelve months ago for people suffering from the. effects of rheumatism by the resident in question from an old Greek medical work, and he at once set about experimenting with it. He imported the ingredients required to make the composition necessary to make a cure, and then he visited persons whom he knew to be affected with rheumatism and gave them the cure gratis. The results are said to be most gratifying.
In the case of an old man who ren'dcd in Plunket Street, and who had been compelled to use crutches for a long time, the effect was wonderful. In fact, within thirty days after the commencement ol the treatment he was able to walk without any assistance whatever, and, strange to relate, he has not felt the slightest trace of rheumatism since.
