FINDING OF COMMISSION. COMMENTS BY MR. HERDMAN. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 9. Speaking at the opening of the new Public Trust Buildings, the Hon; W. L. Herdman said tlie finding of the Commission was satisfactory. Some reflection had been made' on the personnel of the Commission, and it had been, suggested that the report had been furnished at the instigation of the Government. Such a suggestion was absolutely unfounded. Mr Herdman commended the proposal to separate native trusts from European trusts. The investigation was conducted with fairness and thoroughness, and with as high a standard of conduct as characterised any investigation ever made in "New Zealand.
