After a desperate .struggle, a burglar twice shot.Mr Overton, the proprietor of the Tyne Laundry at Manly, and escaped. Mr Overton.was awakened by a burglar in his bedroom. Ho- grappled and had-a fierce fight with the intruder, who fired a revolver, wounding Mr Overton in. the; neck.
