ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND IN THE HARBOUR. (Per United Pres* Association.) AUCKLAND, March <5. flic body of a .Harried man aged 40. named Robert A. Davy*, accountant, of Pukekohe, was found in the harbour today. Deceased left Fukekobe for Auckland on business on Wednesday, and Had uot been seen since. FARMER KILLED. DUNEDIN, March 0. Andrew Melville, an old and respected farmer at Riverside, was killed' at Balelutha this afternoon. Ho and Mrs Melville were driving to the freezing works, and while passing through a gate the horse became fractious. Tho cart was overturned, and both occupants wore thrown our. Mr Melville’s neck was broken, and Mrs Melville sustained a broken'leg and severe injuries to her face. Sljc was removed to an adjacent hoimc in an unconscious condition. ;
DEATH FROM NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. AUCKLAND. March 7. William Curtain, aged 34, who was greatly affected by the sudden'death of his employer, W. Marson, a little over a a week ago, after seeing the dead uody, went home and became unconscious. He was removed to the hospital, but died yesterdav from nervous breakdown. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. AUCKLAND March 7. An Italian named Bosario Scibitia was found in Albert Park early this morning, havinw shot himself with a revolver. Ho lies in the hospital in a precarious condition. Scibitia has been despondent owing to illness.
