Regulations for the; Pfcunkat- Nurse were also adopted. The Marten Society was admitted as a branch of the Wanganui district, Marten to have the services of the Nurse one day a week. A letter was received from.the Patea, Society asking on what terms they could share in the services of the Plunkot Nurse. It was decided to offer the -services of the Nurse to Patoa for one day each fortnight or forone day every four weeks ou terms similar 'to those arranged with the Marton Society. The secretary reported correspondence with the' Department of Public Health relative to the Government subsidy, and a letter was read from Dr. -Valentine, Inspector General of Hospitals, stating that. Government had agreed to grant a subsidy of '24s per £1 on" subscriptions and donations. It was resolved to consult the Advisory Board on renting premises for office and nurses’ consulting rooms. A demonstration in making humanised milk was given by Dr. Elizabeth Dunn.
