LONDON, June G. 1 lie International Congress of Insurance Brokers to discuss improvement in insurance practices, received a cable con\eymg the good wishes of the New South n.es Association. The discussion on insurance under the Workmen's Compensation Act revealed a growth of o.xaggerated claims, and companies found it dohcult to niaka a profit or adjust rates to cover the risk. Resolutions were passed again'-u State competition in instil unce as directly opposed to the interest of the people; also against municipal insurance as being inefficient, costly and detiimenta! to the ratepayers.
