TK work done on the track yesterday was not of a very interesting description. Seaman and Outlander went a couple of rounds together, the latter moving very freely. Sir Lctbo covered two circuits in taking style. Moose and Tonderghie went a round over the fences. Continuance, Paisano, and Kaipctipeti, who only arrived on Saturday, did slow work. The two former look particularly well. Silver Cluse, Dorando, and The Native ran six furlongs. Silver Cluse being a head in front of Dorando, The Native a length away.

This morning ,he weather was line, and the track in good order. There was a big crowd of spectators. There was very little fast work on the flat, but there was a deal of jumping. Sir Lethe (R. Thompson) went over the big fences, jumping well and going twice round. Seaman (F. Lind) and Koknko (R. Horne) were associated in a spin over the hurdles, the former showing to much better advantage than hi-, companion, Ncdra (R. Thompson), Silver Cluse (E. Murtagh), and Outlander (L. Hegarty) jumped six hurdles, Outlander giving a very poor display of jumping. Hill Lass (K. Thompson) and Dorando (L. Hegarty) went twice round over the big fences, the latter pleasing most by his jumping. Sphinx went six furlongs fast.' Gaelic, Hautcre, Okaihau, Eastwind, Antarctic. Mr. S. Mcssena is giving up racing, and win offer all his horses for sale. Air. Mcssena. has been obliged to take this step owing to ill-health. He has been ordered to a cold climate, and will probably take ii)) lus quarters in the South Island. Bobrikoff has been again taken up bv bis trainer, F. The Spaniard is doing everything thal is being asked of him. Goodwin has him in excellent condition.
