No institution throughout the world to-day receives more lizeral support at the hands of the peoples of all nations than those Dial are established for the relief of Buffering humanity and the poor. Four years ago the women of Wanganui established a District Nursing Teague, and have, by self-sacrificing efrorts and the kindly attention and care by their nurses to many hundreds of patients in Wanganui, performed magnificent work, which we kno wis gratefully appreciated by every man and woman in the district. In a later issue we shall publish the report of (he nurses' work for the past vear, in order to give our readers an idea of the splendid work that is being carried out in our midst. Meanwhile wo ask onr readers to lay aside what they can afford as their donation to the Nursing League for Saturday. .Tune Ist, because red eross nurses will visi tevery house that day.
