SENSATIONAL DIVORCE, i Case Revived. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 13. The memories of a sensational divorce case hoard, in Sydney in 1901 were revived by the trial which commenced in Che Supreme Court to-day, when Alice Connmgham sued for divorce from her husband. Arthur Cunningham, on the ground of adultery. The case is being heard before Mr Justice Chapman and a jury. An application to have the case heard in camera was declined, the judge stating that he might have to order that some of the evidence be not published, lespondent asked that a cross-petition heard at the same tune, hut His Honor said the matter was not set down, and ,ie could not try it. Petitioner in her evidence said sic was married in Sydney in 1893. There were three children of the marriage. She lived with her husband until 1900, when „ney separated for a time. About three ears ago respondent went away. He had not really maintained her for 12 ears. Petitioner also gave evidence which led her to suspect her husband’s conduct. The ease is proceeding.
