WAIROA OPINION. (Per United Press Association.) WAIROA, May 11. A largely-attended meeting of local bodies in the Wairoa district last night strongly condemned the Local Government Bill as regards County Councils, Borough Councils, and Hospital Boards, and resolutions were passed condemning it for its centralising tendencies. It is claimed that Wairoa’s isolation demands special consideration. The Mayor of Wairoa was ■lected as a deh gate.
