Thomas Farrell, aged 40, a labourer, of Muriwai, died suddenly yesterday while carrying a bucket of water. FOUND DYING. GISBORNE, May 0. James Graham, a settler at Puha, was found in an unconscious condition on the Cliff Road on Saturday evening. ITe died yesterday. The cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. WATERSIDE WORKER'S DEATH. AUCKLAND, May 4. Henry Morris Anderson, a waterside worker, married, aged 4(5, died in the rosi ital from injuries received through falling down the hold of the steamer Mokoia on April 2(5. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attachable to anyone. The jury added a rider, recommending all steamship companies to allow sufficient time to replace parts of hatches, and that, some person bo responsible for carrying out this work. FOUND DEAD. DUNEDIN, May 5. Michael O'Sullivan, about 75 years of age, was found dead this morning in a hut in which he resided alongside Mill and Co.’s coalyards, Rattray Street. Apparently he had thrown down a mate!), which set fire to a sack on the floor. A carter in the employ of the firm noticed smoko issuing from the hut, and lie broke o;:cn the door and extinguished the flames. He returned to the hut when the smoko cleared away, and found O'Sullivan in a corner dead. SERIOUS ACCIDENT IN A MINE. DUNEDIN, May 5. Simon Wcatlierall, miner, employed in Craig's, coalmine at Coal Creek, met wuth a bad accident on Friday. He was brought to Dunedin Hospital. His spine is injured, and his condition is serious.

SUDDEN DEATH. WELLINGTON. May 4. Robert McDonald, employed as watchman at the Government Printing Office, died in a tramcar when returning to his home. He was about 50 years of age.
