UPOkONGARO FERRY, : Mangawhero Road Board wrote stating that thev were willing to taK<* dyer the con-, trol of the Upokon garo ferry, but would not':recognise any liability fdr, accidents, etc. .They also notified that a : '<leputatiqn from their Board had boon appoiiitod to wait •‘■on the Waitdtara County Council in support of an application for a subsidv' from that, body.
