A commission to inquire into the sugar industry has been appointed., It consists of Judge Gordon (South Australia), chairman, Mr Hinchcliffe (secretary of the Australian Labour Federation), Mr M. Anderson (Sydney) representing’ the shipping interests: Mr Shannon, cane grower; Mr' Crawford, president of the Sugar Producer’s Association. The Commission inquires into all phases of the question.
