Occidental lid, Bendigo old, Tairua Mines Is Id, Northern Coal lis 3d, Kauri Timber Company 10s 6d, Wilson’s Cement, ord., 39s 9d. nßs FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT. During last week we hceld three clearing sales of dairy stock, and also cur usual monthly Raetihi sale. At Maxwelltown on Monday we offered Air Brennan’s dairy herd, furniture and sundries. The cows were not in very good condition, and being ■‘mostly late calvers did not make exceptional prices. Sundries sold very veil. At Kai Iwi on Tuesday we sold Air W. A. Collins’ herd of Jersey cross cows. This was one of the best known herds in the district, and the cows being a first-class lot, were very keenly sought after. The spring calvers averaged £9 11s Gd throughout. At Matarawa on Tliursday we held a clearing sale of Air John AlcGregor's dairy herd, when keen competition resulted in cows making satisfactory prices. We. quote: At Air Brennan’s sale; Springers .£5 to £7 os, late calvers £3 2s 6d fo £4 15s. store cows £3 7s Gd to £3, yearling steers 325, weancr heifers 28s Gd.* Lincoln rams 19s, empty sow £2 11s. At Air Collins’ sale; Best springers £ll to £l3 ss, medium £8 10s to £lO 10s, later calvers £G to £B, cowA in milk £5 5s to £7 ss. empty sow £2, sows and litters £3 to £4. At Air AlcGrcgor’s sale: Good springers £8 10s to £lO ss, nifdjum do. £6 to £B. \ EAETTHI STOCK SALE. Alcssrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. report on their Raetihi sale on Friday last, as follows:—We had a good yarding of sheep, and a medium number of cattle. Sheep were a little dull at auction, but we wore able to discose of the bulk of the yarding before the sale was over by private treaty. Cattle sold at improved prices. We. quote;— Fat wethers 19s Gd and 19s Sd, 2-tooth ewes in lamb los, ewe lambs 12s Id to 12s 3d, good mixed lambs 12s, medium do. 8s 7d to 9s Gd, others 7s, f.m. ewes in lamb 10s to 10s Gd, cull ewes 5s to Gs Gd, fat cows £G, 2-year steers £3 13s to £3 15s, mixed yearlings £3 ,6s, dairy cowa £lO.
