To-morrow, at 11 o'clock, Williams and Harper will sell by public auction, on account of the Wanganui College Board of Trustees, on the premises, old College Buildings, Victoria Avenue, a large and assorted quantity of furniture and effects.

On Wednesday next Williams and Harrcr will hold a sale of nursery stock on account of Messrs Duncan and Davies, oi New Plymouth.

IMPORTANT SALE. OF DAIRY STOCK. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NEXT. At Waverloy this week, Messrs Jackson and Co. will conduct one of the largest sales of dairy stock yet held on this coast, when they will submit to auction over 400 dairy' cows on account of the estate of the lute I. Lupton. 'lhe cows are an exceptionally fine lot and afford dairymen an excellent opportunity of making valuable additions to their herds.

IMPORTANT AUCTION SALE OF BALGOWNIE LANDS. Messrs C. L. Dnigan and Co., auctioneers, advertise an important auction sale of the Freezing Company’s paddock at Balgownie, comprising some 24 acres of nice river terraces between the Heads Kailua- and the river, and immediately adjoining Balgownie Homestead subdivision. The property will be sold in one lot. Onlv 10 per cent, cash is required. The balance may remain for five years at 5 per cent., with right to pay off whole or part at any time. In view of harbour extension, this land will enormously increase m value in the near future.
