FIRE AT MASTERTON.

RACECOURSE BUILDINQS BURNED. (Per United Press Association.) MASTERTON, July 8. A big fire at an early hour this morning destroyed the whole of the buildings on the Mastcrton racecourse, including the grandstand and booth, stewards' room, totalizator house, ladies' cloak room, Press room and secretary's office, weighing and jockeys’ room and loose! boxes. The new stand and the judge’s Ikix were the only buildings left. The cause of the lire is a mystery. It is thought to he the work of an incendiary, as there is evidence of an attempt to burn the remaining stand. The buildings arc covered by TIL’OO insurance in the North British office.
