Oeeano sailed from San Francisco on 28th June, and is expected to arrive at Auckland about the 2Sth July. ' It seema probable that the uncertainty which at present exists as to the corr-mt bearings of the Three Kings will shortly bn cleared up. The Cambrian, which was sent out to the islands, returned to Auckland on Tuesday with the most recent data a wailablo. The correct bearings of Cape Reinga were obtained at the position of the Three Kings. When the (mures have been worked out it is anticipated that the latest corrections will be verified It was originally intended to despatch, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Anglo-Columbian from New York for New Zealand port* on July 10 A Void has been received by the local agents of the company stating that the charter lias been withdrawn. A steamer has been substituted to take her place, and will kavo New York on August 21. THE MEDINA AND MALOJA

The work of fitting up the new P. and 0. mail steamer, according to plans approved by the King, lor the conveyance of his Majesty and Queen Marc to India in November next, is now (savs Lloyd’s List) well in hand, and although it will necessarily occupy some time, it will be completed considerably in advance of the date of their Majesties' embarkation. For the King a range of apartments on suite will be especially constructed on the port side of the spar dock, forward of the dining saloon; while a corresponding suite of rooms on the starboard side will be built up for her Majesty the Queen. The Medina’s sister ship, the Maloja. will as has been stated, also make her maiden voyage in connection with the Durbar, having been specially assigned for the conveyance of passengers who may he proceeding to India to attend the Royal function at Delhi. She will leave bonder on November 7. calling at Marseilles, and arrive af Bom ha v on four days in advance of their Majesties? ’
