SOME CAKE RECEIPTS. RICH CHEAP CAKE—Beat well 'he yolks of three eggs, and the whites of two, with one cup of fine sugar. Beal in one half cup condensed milk, one and two-third cups sifted flour, two heaping tcas]K>(>ns baking powder, one half teaspoon lemon, one teaspoon of vanilla extract. Butter generously two large cake tins. Put together with frosting made with one white of egg, and two-thirds cup of sugar licaten ,together. AFTERNOON TEA CAKES,—One cup sugar, one crp of raisins, one halt-cup butter, one tcaspeonfnl cinnamon, one half teaspoonful cloves. Stir this all together, and put on stoye and lot come to the foil. Cool, then add two cups of flour with one teaspoonful of soda. Put in gem pan:', and hake in a quick oven.
