TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Permit me, per medium of your columns, to assure the City Band of a 'learty welcome for Sunday‘afternoon at Virginia Lako. 1 Though totally unaware to whose surest ion we owe this unexpected pleasure, the occasion is opportune, and it will afford an audience any- \\ hero about the reserve the unique ■xpcrience of hearing how greatly enhanced music becomes when heard across intervening water. I learn they will nerform on the site, of the projected uoronatiou memorial band rotunda.—l am, etc.,
