SWELTERING HEAT WAVE.
Press Association—Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Julv 5, 8.5 a.m. ’OTTAWA, July 4. A sweltering heat wave was experienced at Quebec. A terrific rain storm followed, the streets being flooded and business brought to a standstill. There was a panic on several river steamers, but it is believed (here were no fatalities.
