Tic-y were informed that the matter was being, discussed by the company's New Zealand representatives, and it was expected ta.it an announcement would be made in a day or two that uniformity of rates had been arranged. A telegram has been reeeiv.-d from the general manager of (be Union Company stating that ho hoped to get uniformity of rates satisfactorily adjusted.
