ELECTORAL CENSUS.
(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 1. Work in connection with the electoral census, to be taken on July 9, will be commenced on Monday next, when enrolment terms will bo distributed to the householders. This will be . the first occasion on' which an electoral census has been bold in tbe Dominion. It does awav with tbe objeotional feature of canvassing for names for enrolment.
