A MORGANATIC DAUGHTER OF GEORGE 111.
LONDON, April 1 16. A woman, named Helena Halstead, who claims to be a direct desoendent of King Georg® HI., was imprisoned to-day on a charge of obtaining money by means of fake pretences. The accused is of refined appearance and speech. She says that she is the great grand-daughter of Princess Augusta, a daughter of George 111., by a morganatic marriage.
