Maitland, a pupil of toe aviation school, engaged on Salisbury’ Plain in biplaning, met with a very serious accident. His machine overturned and ho fell two hundred and fifty feet, sustaining fractured thighs and an injured spine. AEROPLANIBTS WATCH BOAT RACE Received April 3. 8.4fl a.m. LONDON. April 2. . Six aeroplanes appeared over the Thames during the‘University boat race.
