Much damage has been done to 1 cane crops. RESCUE OF RESIDENTS. Received April 3, 10.20 a.m. BRISBANE, April 3. Ingham is surrounded by flood waters. The residents in the low-lying portions have been removed! , . Police boats out at Kuranda are rescuing people from the lowlying area. A train from :Caim was stopped by the flood a few miles out. The passengers returned to town. Telegraph communication is interrupted, and the full extent of the damage is unknown.
