HAYWARD’S PICTURES. There was another good attendance at the Lyceum Theatre last evening, when the fine programme at present being screened was shown for tlie second time, in conjunction with the Garden Fete'and Fcilding Show pictures, which were taken by Mr C. F. Newham. The latter was screened in Wanganui for the first time, and is right up to the usual high standard of Mr Newham's films. The dramatic studios, “The Voice of the Violin,” “The Little Breadwinners,’’ and “He Kid,” are all fine subjects, which met with hearty approval. The scenic films depicting 1 “A. Tour Through the Italian Alps” and Broncho Breaking in the Argentine,” are both splendid studies. The comedy elonkit is well catered for with “An OriWtal Cross-Country Race,” "Father Bujß a Screen,” and “An Easy Winner.” flhyward's permanent orchestra supplied a fine programme of .incidental music, wlych was much appreciated. , TO-NIGHT this fine programme of animated pictures will he screened again, and picture lovers should not miss this chance of witnessing their projection. BELLE CROME BELLRINGERS. By advertisement it will be seen that the above talented combination are appearing at the Opera House to-night and to-morrow evening, presenting a different programme at each performance. Tlie Belle Crome Company havfe been touring the Dominion for the last 16 months to good business, but owing to inability previously to secure suitable dates, this is the first visit to Wanganui, The Cromes' have a world-wido reputation, having appeared in almost everv English-speaking country in the world. Included in the personnel of the present company is Miss Ethel Richards, a New Zealander. This lady has splendid credentials, being an operatic and oratorio soprano of high repute in the South Island. At the oratorio • festivals of Christchurch, Dunedin, Timaru, and Invercargill Miss Richards has been, a recognised soloist, and was honoured quite recently by a special request to sing at Invercargill for their excellencies Lord and Lady Islington. Mr Llewellyn is tho possessor of a fine baritone voice, pure in quality, and round of tone, 'the other members include Miss Belle Crome, instrumentalist; Mr Harry Fane; Mr Will Hughes, humorist; Mr E. ■V.
