HAYWARD’S PICTURES. Tho attendance was excellent at the' Lyceum Theatre for the second production of the' how series. The various piemres evoked rounds of applause, and ip.t-.'. hj favourable comment was passed on tho excellence of the’ whole entertainment. “The Heir to Clavancourt Castle” was perhaps the most popular picture of the programme, and it certainly is u revelation in the art of picture-cine-matography to even’the habii/ual picturegoci'. ■ ■ “The Death Disc” is’’also a most popular film, showing as it does the intense ■ feeling •on religious ..questions Intho time of Oliver Cromwell. : The scenic “Sbha-ffhausen” is a beautiful film, perhaps the best that has yet '.been , screened hero. Some of the scenes are .magnificent'!;/ colpnred. ~ The comips, of which thorn are quite a number, aro a good lot, perhaps the-best being “A Family Outing,at Luna Park.” Besides .being highly diverting, this picture gives a splendid idc.i. of the great Parisian pleasure resort.
