The Morning Post'.says that Colonel Kirkpatrick’s appointment as Inspector General of the Commonwelatli forces, is another indication of the serious attention which Australia is now disposed to give to military organisations. If was natural, but hardly logical, that national pride before insisted that the Inspector-General should be an Australian officer. That idea has now been abandoned.
