VISIT TO LEVIN. (Per United Press Association.) LEYIN, April 21. • The Premier visited Levin to-day, and was driven to Horowhenua Lake and other scones of interest. He was waited on by deputations regarding closer settlement, encroachments by sand drifts on hundreds of acres of valuable pasture, and other works deemed matters for remedy at the hands of the Government. Sir Joseph Ward undertook to consider the representations made. He was entertained at a dinner by the municipality, and in the afternoon officially opened the new post office at Weraroa. He leaves for Wellington this evening.
