There was a very large attendance of billiard enthusiasts (including a fair sprinkling of ladies) at the Norfolk Bil--Hard Parlour last evening to witness the exhibition match between Fred Lindrum, junr., champion of Australia, and George Gray, holder of the world's record break of; §36, The contest was 750 lip, and a splendid exposition of the game was given by the two youthful -cueists! Gray made many gallant, efforts to retrieve his ■ position, but Lindrum (wbo played the more consistent game,’after scoring several big breaks, including one of 287, ran out in an unfinished break of 111, amidst great applause.
