The following delegates were present at a special meeting of the Management Com mitt?e of the Wanganui Cricket A&socia tion last night: — Messrs Atkinson (cha'rman), T. S. Henderson, L. E. Ba&sett, Dymock, KeogJi,, Bowman, Wheeler, and Berg (secretary). AUSTRALIAN TOUR.— A letter was received from the New Zealand Cricket Council asking if the local Association would be prepared to give the guarantee already promised if the pooling system was abandoned, as suggested by the Wellington Association. After considerable dits cussion it was decided to advise the Council that this Association agrees to pay its guarantee of .£SO and expenses of the match and take 3 all profits of the match.

PROFESSIONAL COACHES.— It was decided to advise the Council's delegate to yot» in favour of professional coaches being .allowed to play in the Plunket Shield andjinter-provincial matches. SELECTORS.— The selectors of representative teams are to be asked to have their teams picked for the following matches by the 15th inst: — The team to play North Taranaki on January Ist and 3rd/and a team to play St. John's College at Wanganui on December 27th and 28th, no one player to play in both matches. CLASSIFICATION.— The Classification Committee reported that after consider'ng the circumstances of the case, they had dec Wed to take no action in the request of the Aramoho Club that J.
