CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

The annual meeting of the Patea-Ran-gitikei Charitabel Aid Board was held yesterday, when there were present Messrs ... Ritchie, G. Carson, D. Fraser, T. H. Battle, C. G. Russell, R. K. Simpson, J. R. Sommerville, A. C. Mannington, B. P. Lcthbridge, J. F. Sicely, G. Spriggens, A. Christiansen, J. Smith, E. E. Fletcher.

ELECTIONS.— The secretary formally reported the recent elections to the Board by the local bodies interested, except Waimarino County Council, which in.s not ycL held its meeting.

CHAIRMAN.— On the motion of Mr Russell, seconded by Mr Simpson, Mr W. Ritchie was unanimously re-elected chairman, and he then briefly returned thanks.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Board was then held.

FINANCE.— The bank book showed a credit balance of ,£867 15s lid.

BEPORT.— The annual report of the Inspector-General was laid on the table, and it was decided to apply to the Government for copies ior members.

THANKS.— Mr T. G. Ellis wrote thanking tne Board for assisting him to go to Rotorua.

EXECUTIVE.— Messrs Spriggens, Carson, Sommerville, Battle, Russell, Fletcher, and the chairman were re-elected an executive.

VISITING COMMITEE.— The report of the visiting committee on the Jubilee Home stated that everything was in a satis factory condition. Some timber and roofing material was required for a shelter shed for the old men, and this was left in the hands of the chairman. — Messrs Sp r iffg ens and Carson were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing month.

JUBILEE HOME.— The medical report on the Jubilee Home stated that the institution had been visited regularly during November, and that the of the inmates now there was good. — The Home diary stated that two inmates had died during the month. li.,^ — xtS. — Tenders for annual supplies were opened, stamped with the Board's stamp, and referred to the executive to deal with. ACCOUNTS. — Accounts amounting to .£l2O were passed for payment.
