(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 27. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast : — Rain is probable generally, with freshening winds between east and south-west, and a rising barometer everywhere soon. Weather reports to-day show gloomy and wet weather generally with easterly winds predominating over the Dominion of variable force.
