( At the half-yearly meeting of the Broken Hill Proprietory Company, the report showed a loss of .£9OOO. The chairman stated that the men sacrificed j>266,000 in wages during the strike, while the company's losses for the same cause were It vsas not the intention of tho company to fully re-open the mine, unti 1 the price of metals- -justified the payment of wages set out in the Arbitration award.
