Wellington Suburban Residences ' Destroyed (Per United Preaa Association..) WELLINGTON, July 23. Two houses were .burped at Northlands last evening ,and a third, occupied by Mr Pearce, injured, and the furniture damaged '. Pearce also owned one of those de- ■ stroyed, and, a few months ago was burned out from the same cause as in this instance, viz., clothes drying before--the fire catching alight. .The insurances total £1750. '
This morning an 8-roomed house at Island Bay, next door to the hotel juat closed, was burned down. It was owned by Mr H. Gilmer.
WELLINGTON, July 23. TVitlr regard to the fire at Island Bay, it apppaifc that the furniture was insured in the South British for J5150, and the house for .£450 in the Atlas.
