ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
EASTBROOK V. TAIHAPE.
The following Eastbrook club members are requested to. attend at Victoria Park to-morrow, at 2.30 o'clock— Beckett (2), Adams, Wagstaff, J. Proctor, McGrail, Walpole, W. Kendrick, Jarrett, Robson, tf. Proctor, Hurst, Potts, and Davidson. The team will be picked on the ground, and will be without the services of G. tfartin, who Kau his leg injured in a match last week, and will be unable to play for some time.
To-morrow Eastbrook meet Thistle in the first match of the cup contest, on Victoria Park at .2.45 p.m. ' In the league contest -Thistle defeated Eastbrook in the first round, but in the second round Eastbrook turned the tables. The match to-morrow should be a very interesting one. Mr Bannermatt will' referee. , , i All those intending to. make the trip to Marton. on Saturday, 31st inst, are requested to hand in their names to the secretary (Mr "Benefield) not iater than Tuesday, 27th -inst. -.
