Massacre of Christians

It is alleged that the Russian usurpation of the civil authority at Tabriz led Sata Khan, Begir Khan, and other Persian Nationalist leaders to take refuge in the Turkish Consulate. They were refused admission io the British Consulate. There are disquieting reports at Teheran regarding the advance of Turkish regulars at Urumiah. , It is stated that many Christians have been massacred at Maindoah. The Armenians are appealing for protection.
