EXPORT OF GOLD AND SILVER

(Per United Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 3.

During the last four months New Zealand exported 145,527 ounces of gold, valued at *&77 5 335, as compared with 162,382 ounces, valued at ,£647,828 for the corresponding period of 1908. The export of silver for the four months totalled 550,675 ounces, valued at j854,887, as against 491,949 ounces, valued at £48,407. Gold to the value of .£111,097 was sent out of the Dominion last month.
