On Saturday night the Whangaroa, tim-ber-Jaden for Sydney, was towed out to sea by the Arapawa, and yesterday morning fhe scow ' Jap, similarly loaded, was towiid over "the bar, for Sydney, by the Thistle.

The Huia, Arapawa, and Putiki returned to Wellington on Saturday night. The two' former, with the Stormbird, are expected here again to-morrow. .The Storm brought general cargo from East Coast Southern ports yesterday, and return? there again when discharged. On Saturday night the Thistle brought coaf f rom Puponga. Tjife Rimu leaves Onehunga to-morrow, and is due, via the usual ports, on Thursday.
