A FISHING TROUBLE.

INVERCARGILL, April 30. The dispute between a firm of fish merchants and their cuttermen at the Bluff, which has been in progress during the past week, has not yet been settled. Recently a man left the steamer Tokomaru and started fishing in the cutter Ruruhan. In the small hours this morning he was assaulted aboard the cutter by four men so tuat he had to be treated by a doctor. The police are inquiring.
